International Student Registration 2026

INTRODUCTION

The International Student Scholarship (ISS) program is a fully funded grant offered by Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu for prospective international students who aspire to gain new experiences and immerse themselves in the atmosphere, learning process, and quality of moderate Islamic education in Indonesia. The university’s educational framework integrates scientific knowledge and religious values to broaden intellectual perspectives and deepen spiritual understanding, which students are encouraged to share and apply in their home countries.

For the academic year 2026, Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu provides scholarship opportunities for international students to pursue Bachelor’s (S1), Master’s (S2), and Doctoral (S3) degree programs.

OBJECTIVES

  • To enhance collaboration between Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu and partner countries in the fields of religion, education, and culture.
  • To offer international communities the opportunity to live and study at Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Foreign citizens (WNA) who have completed secondary education are eligible to apply for the Bachelor’s program.
  • Foreign citizens (WNA) who hold a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the Master’s program.
  • Foreign citizens (WNA) who hold a Master’s degree are eligible to apply for the Doctoral program.
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance at their previous level of study.
  • Applicants must not be involved in any legal issues.

Program Duration

2 semesters Indonesian Language Preparation Program (BIPA)
8 semesters Bachelor’s degree program
4 semesters Master’s degree program
6 semesters Doctoral degree program

Notes: The scholarship is awarded on a semester-by-semester basis and is subject to annual evaluation. Continuation of the grant depends on academic performance as well as non-academic conduct, including compliance with university regulations and adherence to societal norms.

General Requirements

  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Submit a copy of a valid passport or identification card.
  3. Provide a copy of the most recent diploma and academic transcript.
  4. Include a recent formal photograph (4 x 6 cm).
  5. Attach a curriculum vitae (CV).
  6. Submit a motivation letter.
  7. Provide a reference or recommendation letter issued by the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.
  8. Submit a police clearance certificate or official statement of good conduct from the relevant authority in the applicant’s home country.
  9. Provide proof of Arabic or English language proficiency.
  10. Submit proof of Indonesian language proficiency (optional).

Note: All required documents must be translated into English or Indonesian.

Special Requirements

  1. Applicants for the Bachelor’s program must be no older than 21 years old as of April 1st, 2026.
  2. Applicants for the Master’s program must be no older than 30 years old as of April 1st, 2026.
  3. Applicants for the Doctoral program must be no older than 40 years old as of April 1st, 2026.
  4. Doctoral applicants are required to submit a dissertation or research proposal.

Selection Process

  1. Register online through the following link: https://aak.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id/index.php/international-students/
  2. Fill in the application form available on the website.
  3. Upload all required documents as specified in the eligibility requirements.
  4. Applicants will receive a registration confirmation after completing the submission.
  5. Candidates will undergo a portfolio assessment and an online interview.
  6. The final results of the selection process will be published on the official website: https://aak.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id/index.php/international-students/

Obligations

  1. Adhere to all laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia.
  2. Participate in all academic activities organized by Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu.
  3. Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 for two consecutive semesters in the enrolled study program.
  4. Complete the study program within the prescribed duration (see Duration section).
  5. Attend and complete the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) Program.

Sanctions

Sanctions will be imposed on scholarship recipients under the following circumstances:

  1. Awardees will be summoned for clarification and issued a First Warning Letter (SP1).
  2. If the recipient fails to comply with or disregards the First Warning Letter (SP1), a Second Warning Letter (SP2) will be issued.
  3. If the recipient continues to violate or ignore the Second Warning Letter (SP2), the scholarship will be terminated.
